Twenty wickets fell on day one when Tissa Central were dismissed for 125 runs and Debarawewa NS for 173. Chathura Jayanath and Ushan Thisal Damsara of Debrawewa NS captured five wickets each while Rohan Sanjaya captured seven wickets.

Tissa Central starting their second innings with a 48 run deficit did well to post 205 runs. Sanchana Lanka scored 42 runs while Ramesh Madusanka proved his consistency with a well compiled 37. Chathura Jayanath claimed his second five wicket haul and a match bag of ten. Chathura has captured 67 wickets this season.

Debarawewa needing 158 runs to win fell short by 52 runs falling prey to Sanjaya’s spin. Sanjaya captured six wickets while Mithira Thenura and Tharaka Sandaruwan captured two wickets each.
