Obtains UNP membership

Three candidates vying for several Local Government bodies in the Kolonnawa electorate under the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) and Sri Lanka Podu Jana Peramuna together with a group of their supporters yesterday obtained UNP membership from Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.They said that they are pleased with the programme implemented by Parliamentarian S.M. Marikkar in the area.
