Royal College Group of 2003 contributes again to their Alma Mater

The Royal College Group of 2003 contributed nearly Rs. 12 Mn towards the enhancement of Advance Level education in Royal College, through three phases.

The project comprised of digitizing the Physics Laboratories and equipping them with laptops, dongles, multimedia projectors and screens at an approximate cost of Rs. 1.5 Mn in 2014 and advancement of a state of the art Chemistry laboratory at a cost of Rs. 7 Mn in 2016.

The ceremonial handing over of the modernised Chemistry Laboratory constructed at a cost of Rs. 3.5 Mn took place recently at the College Hall. The ceremony was presided over by Deputy Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs Dr. Harsha De Silva. Principal of Royal College B. A. Abeyratne, Secretary of the Royal College Union Athula Munasinghe, Sub-committee chairs of the Royal College Union, were present at the event.
