Navy bids farewell to Qi Ji Guang

The People’s Liberation Army–Navy ship, Qi Ji Guang, that arrived in Sri Lanka on a goodwill visit on November 10, departed for her next port of call from the Colombo harbour yesterday. Sri Lanka Navy bade farewell to the departing ship in compliance with naval traditions.

During their five-day tour in the island, the crew of the Chinese ship took part in a wide variety of programmes including friendly sports events, sightseeing, training engagements and cultural events organized by the Sri Lanka Navy.
