PM at Annual Esala Maha Perahera

The Annual Esala Maha Perahera of the Walukarama Viharaya, Kollupitiya was held on October 15. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe placed the Sacred Relics Casket on the Ceremonial Tusker to inaugurate the Perahera. The Prime Minister also opened the new Gana Devi Devalaya built at the Viharaya premises. Viharadhipathi Ven. Maharagama Nanda Thera, Law and Order and Southern Development Minister Sagala Ratnayaka, IGP Pujith Jayasundera and Mrs. Rosy Senanayake were also present on the occasion.
