Parliament is to take up a full day adjournment debate on the construction of Expressways next week.
The adjournment motion on "Expressways already constructed and to be constructed in future” will be moved by JVP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake next Thursday.
Parliamentary Business Committee headed by Speaker Karu Jayasuriya decided on Monday to facilitate a seven hour debate on this regard from 11.30am to 6.30pm on October 19.
