Timber worth rupees two million taken into custody along with suspects

Wanathawilluwa Police had taken into custody sawn teak timber worth two million rupees kept hidden illegally in a house along with with suspects. The owner of the house where the timber had been kept hidden, is said to be a government high ranking female attached to the Wanathawilluwa Divisional Secretariat. A Police team led by Wanathawilluwa ASP Jayantha Nanayakkara had arrested the suspects along with the illegal timber. IP Sagara Liyanage, OIC, Wananthawilluwa Police is investigating.
