CIMA CXO Breakfast Forum on October 19

The CIMA CXO Breakfast Forum 2017 will be held at Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel on October 19.

The event is an intellectual discussion which will focus on bringing together dynamic business and thought leaders into a forward-thinking discussion around designing an organization of the future, in a business world where “tomorrow” is already “history”.

over 100 local C suite business leaders are slated to attend the event. The agenda has been planned in a way that matches the busy schedule of a senior leader. It will consist of two main segments: a keynote speech delivered by world renowned business leader Roman Scott followed by an intellectual discussion of growth strategies used business.

Scott is founder and Chairman of the Calamander Group. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, he clocked over 20 years of experience as a board level advisor to more than 50 financial institutions and central banks/bank restricting agencies. He was a partner and director of the Boston Consulting Group for BCG's global financial services practice Singapore office.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Melanie Kanaka, Head of Finance and Administration of the World Bank for Sri Lanka and the Maldives. She is an accredited SAP consultant and a fellow member of CIMA with a 28 year career in Accounting, Finance, Treasury, SAP, Strategy and General Management.

The panel will consist of three speakers from different backgrounds which are not limited to business. The diversity of the panelists was a conscious decision to provide different perspectives of strategic implementation in the multilateral business environment.

Following are the panelists: Samantha Rajapaksa, Managing Director, Associated Motorways (Private) Limited. A leader with 30 years' experience, both local and foreign, which includes strategic planning, business development and implementing organizational change management

Jonathan Alles, Managing Director, Hatton National Bank. He is a veteran banker who holds both local and international experience of over 30 years in the banking industry.

Mahela Jayawardena, former Sri Lankan cricketer and captain of the Sri Lankan cricket team.

He will demonstrate how situational leadership strategy is best used in the playing field especially when competing against a stronger opponent.
