Wimalasundera, former Chairman, W.F. de Silva & Company of Colombo and Kandy, Founder Chairman, Hotel Janaki of Colombo, mother of Sarath, Jayanthi (USA), Thilaka (UK), Manel (UK), Bandula, Kusum (UK), Mano, Ramani, Maya, Janaki (Sydney), mother-in-law of Damani, Titus, Colvin, Lakshman, Tejinda, Nancy, Saman, Ranjith, Ananda and Ganga, passed away peacefully, aged 95 years. The remains lie at No. 10, Andarawatta Road, Polhengoda, Colombo 05. The cortege leaves residence at 3.00 p.m. on Sunday the 27th of August, 2017 for cremation at General Cemetery, Borella at 4.00 p.m.104679
