Improper garbage disposers nabbed

The Police arrested102 people for improper garbage disposal during a special operation conducted with the help of the Army during the weekend in the Western Province.

The raid was carried on Saturday and Sunday. The Police are to file legal action against the offenders.

The largest number of arrests – 27 – had been recorded from Colombo Central followed by Nugegoda -21.
