When will the 2017 AGM of KFL take place?

Today no one seems to care for Kandy’s football which has a record of being over 90 years old. Once before the FFSL AGM some people from Colombo came and had secret meetings, and after the AGM they are not even heard of. For the last many years, tournaments are not organized in the correct way; the 2016 semifinals were played a few weeks back and the finals have yet to take place. Why is the FFSL blind to it? Today the game of football is given step motherly treatment, the right people are not involved. The Kandy Football League is a founder member of the controlling body. At one time this league conducted over 150 matches a year, today not even ten.

At least this time will cue sport be cured?

For the last many years the cue game in Kandy is dead. At one time many clubs played the game and their cueists took part in the Lanka Plate championship, for the last couple of years no one has qualified to play in the Lanka Plate in snooker and billiards. Except for Mahanuwara YMBA all others clubs have made the cue room their store room. No one is interested and there is no proper person who can give a hand for the game.
