Report on Lankan labour force launched

An intern of the Policy Development Office (PDO) who is a graduate from Harvard University, presented a report entitled "Unlocking Skilled Labour for the Future" on Thursday.

The Sri Lankan economy must diversify its industries to continue its economic growth. New industries will require more skilled labour. The report has analyzed the potential policy areas to increase the supply of skilled labour in Sri Lanka.
