Woman fined for having venison

A woman who had venison in her deep freezer was fined Rs. 20,000 by the Hambantota Magistrate, recently.Hambantota wildlife officials raided her house in Hambantota on a tip-off and took into custody three kilograms of venison. A woman was also taken into custody.

Wildlife officials produced her in Court.
