Law by not reporting when wanted is equal to all

mrs. Rajapakse should have gone without avoiding this because it is quite evident that if she was not guilty why avoid the investigation? Go and prove your innocence lady!!!!!.CID also should treat all people equally. Those responsible for giving various reports also should be given a time frame and if not they too should be arrested for aiding and abeting the criminals be it Rajapakse or Siripala in the street. Law should be equal to all

This is not right. Mrs. Shiranthi Rajapaksa is the former first lady. Police should have the decency to go to her residence and record a statement. What's the big deal? A mere statement does not make anybody responsible for a crime. She deserved to be treated with respect and dignity. The government should stop treating others as thieves and criminals when they themselves have such people. According to the law, everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Police should remember that and act accordingly.
