The seven suspects arrested for transporting 218 kg of cocaine concealed in a sugar container in Ratmalana were further remanded till July 26 by the Mount Lavinia Magistrate last evening.
Mount Lavinia Police arrested the seven suspects on July 19.
The suspects, including the two individuals who possessed two cocaine packs are said to be employed at the Ratmalana Economic Centre.
The Narcotics Division is investigating.
