The National Chamber felicitated chamber members conferred with National Honours .
The winners were felicitated at a ceremony held at Colombo Hilton Residences on May 26, 2017, to recognize their members who were bestowed with national honours by the government. The event was graced by Speaker Karu Jayasuriya, a large number of chamber members, family guests and well wishers.
The winners were Mineka Wickramasinghe, President Emeritus, Ceylon Biscuits, Abbass Akbarally, Chairman Akbar Brothers, D Eassuwaran, past president of the Chamber and Chairman of Eswaran Brothers Exports Pvt Ltd. W.K. Wegaptiya, Chairman Laugfs Holdings , Captain M.G. Kularatne, Chairman ,Managing , Director, Maga Engineering Pvt Ltd, Prof. Lal Chandrasena, past Council Member and Director/General Manager, Nawaloka Hospitals Ltd, Dr Victor Hettigoda, Chairman Hettigoda Group, Thilak de Zoysa, Chairman Supervisory Board and Advisor to the Al-Futtaim Group of Companies in Sri Lanka.
