A'pura massage clinics raided

Anuradhapura Police raided Ayurveda Massage clinics situated near the Anuradhapura Sacred city on Tuesday and arrested 23 women masseuses suspected to have engaged in sexual malpractices.

Police said the suspects are in the 22-45 age group. They are residents of Medawachchiya, Khatagasdigilya, Hodagama, Rajangana, Sinpura, Yatiyantota, Kosgoda, Migalewa Parasangaswewa, Trincomalee, Payagala North, Pamunugama, Eppawala, Ruwanwella, Matale, Kuda Oya, Nochchiyagama, Medagamptiya, Habarana and Taletuoya.

They were to be produced before the Anuradhapura Magistrate yesterday. Investigations are continuing.
