4th Ministerial Consultation of the Abu Dhabi Dialogue (ADD) commences

The 4th Ministerial Consultation of the Abu Dhabi Dialogue (ADD) commenced yesterday at the Cinnamon Lakeside hotel, Colombo under the patronage of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. Ministers responsible for Foreign Employment of the ADD countries are attending the event. During yesterday’s session Foreign Employment Minister Thalatha Athukorala was appointed the chairman of the Abu Dhabi Dialogue for a period of two years. The two-day dialogue will focus on bilateral and multilateral cooperation in cooperating challenges that are associated with labour recruitment and consider alternatives to the prevalent recruitment models as a main item of the consultation’s agenda.
