The Colours Award ceremony of Mahamaya Girls College,Kandy was held under the patronage of Major General R.V. Udawatte, Chief of Staff, Sri lanka Army recently at the School auditorium. The Principal of the School, Indra Withanachchi received the Chief Guest and the other guests and delivered the welcome speech.
Gayathri Herath, International Badminton player of the school was adjudged the Best Sportswoman of the school. Over 500 students won Merit awards,Colors awards, Special Award and Pahana award for various sports disciplines such as Netball, Table Tennis,Swimming, Karate, hockey, Arobic, Gymnastic, etc.
