Planet Education ties up with Australia Gateway in Colombo

One of South Asia’s largest international education and career consulting bodies, Planet Education recently tied up with Australian migrationpartner, Australia Gateway in Colombo to enter Sri Lankan market.

Planet Education CEO Gagan Singh said that they are rapidly expanding their overseas foot prints and now they have included Sri Lanka as well. Planet Education is a company that represents various high ranked universities across 6 different countries: Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK, USA, and Singapore.

“With the Australian government taking off Sri Lankan students from the high rise Visa category we expected the present 15% year on year growth to incense.”

He said that then he met Susantha Katugampola, Chairman of Fairfields Lawyers which has set up its very own Australia Gateway, at the Jaic Hilton Towers, in 2003.

He said that students who do higher studies can work part time after two years and after passing out they can work full time. “In addition we are also opening out courses in the Skill Development segment thus enabling Sri Lanka s to get a world class certificate at affordable prices.”

“We are privileged to have assisted over 15000 students achieve their dreams of higher education abroad since our inception.”

Australia is the second home to over 100,000 Sri Lankans who had benefitted tremendously on almost every measure of excellence, from health to wealth,from success in business to educational attainment, says Susantha Katugampola of Australia Gateway.

“Out of these 100,000 Sri Lankans majority live in Melbourne, which clinched top spot for the fifth year in a row on the prestigious World's Most Livable Cities List 2015,” said Katugampola.

According to Australia’s Ministry for Immigration and Border Protection,up to 190,000 permanent migration places will be available in 2015-16.“Australia is the world's most popular destination for international students and is one of the richest countries in the world, ranking fifth

highest in GDP Per Capita Income, way passing United States, United Kingdom and Canada.”
