A statement of former Secretary of the Post and Telecommunication Ministry Hemasiri Fernando was recorded by the Presidential Commission to Investigate and Inquire into Serious Acts of Fraud, Corruption and Abuse of power, State resources and Privileges (PRECIFAC) yesterday.
A statement was recorded from Fernando in connection with several financial transactions and monetary misconducts that allegedly took place at the ministry, amounting at Rs 35 million when he was performing as the secretary.
