Missing child’s body found in agriculture well

The body of a five year old boy who was reported missing since July 15 in Kilinochchi, was recovered from an agriculture well in the area on Sunday.

Shantha Ruban Darshan was reported missing from his house in Wattakachchi Pudukadu in Kilinochchi. The police commenced an investigation after a complaint lodged by his parents with Kilinochchi Police.

Wattakachchi Police with the help of villagers commenced a search operation and found the body of the child in an agriculture well in the area. The body was sent to Kilinochchi hospital for a post mortem.
