Namal allegedly paid Rs. 50 m. to SLAF for chopper rides

Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa had allegedly paid more than Rs. 50 million to the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) to settle bills for hiring SLAF craft for internal air flights made during the previous regime, investigations by the Presidential

Commission Investigating Fraud, Corruption, Abuse of Power State Resources and Privileges (PRECIFAC) has revealed.

The Commission has now launched investigations to find out how Namal Rajapaksa could have afforded to pay such a huge sum to the SLAF on his own.

There is information that Rajapaksa had made 150 internal air flights using SLAF craft.
