Transport Deputy Minister inspects Kataragama Bus Depot

Transport Deputy Minister Ashok Abeysinghe visited the Kataragama C.T.B. depot recently to inspect the state of the deport and its services.

Employees drew attention to a lack of mechanical tools and the lack of facilities at the restrooms at the depot. The Transport Deputy Minister congratulated the employees at the depot for progress despite the lack of facilities and promised to provide the deport with what they needed.

The Kataragama bus depot has a fleet of 70 buses of which 61 are in operation.

Ruhunu Regional Transport Board Secretary Wasantha Weerasinghe and other officials participated in the inspection.
