Girl falls ill at term test, dies at hospital

An 11-year-old school girl attached to Mirigama Bandaranaike MV who suddenly fell ill while sitting the term tests in school yesterday, died on admission to Mirigama Hospital. She was identified as K. Buddhimi Amasha of Gallindawatta.

Teachers said the girl complained of a chest pain and difficulty in breathing after arriving in school and they soon admitted her to hospital. The body was sent to the Gampaha District Hospital for a post mortem examination. Mirigama Police are investigating.
