FADNA Arunella, the health campaign centered on diabetes and diabetes prevention, was held recently, at St Mary's Church in Maharagama, organized by the members of the Church Sunday School.
The event as stated before has been organized every year with the object of raising the public's awareness about the dangers of diabetes and methods which they can use to prevent it from afflicting their lives.
At the forefront of the campaign is Food and Nature (Pvt) Ltd, which has dedicated its main product, FADNA Diabe Tea, to eradicate this health menace in people affected by it, and is the main patron of the event.
The Arunella Camp was organized revolving around various events, including free checkups and blood tests conducted by experienced and professional doctors.
Awareness campaigns and programs were to be on the top of the agenda as well. Information and advice related to how one could lead a life free from diabetes and obesity was given as well.
