Two motorcycles crashed at Mavadi Vembu on the Batticaloa -Valaichenai Road on Friday, killing a rider.
The deceased was identified as Kunaraza Kunaneethan, 21, of Kiran.
The pillion who sustained injuries was admitted to the Batticaloa Teaching Hospital.
The rider of the other motorcycle also sustained injuries. Eravur Police are investigating
