Suspect wanted for murders, robberies nabbed in Kuliyapitiya

A suspect wanted for several crimes was arrested with two galkatas at Udahorape Anikkanee in Kuliyapitiya on Wednesday by Special Task Force Unit officers of Kurunegala.

The suspect was wanted two murders and a number of crimes in the Kurunegala district, police said.

The suspect was also involved in a number of robberies in the area, police said. The suspect produced before the Kuliyapitiya Magistrate was remanded until February 15.
