Sri Lanka’s 68th Independence Day celebrations which were held at the Galle Face Green this morning were concluded with the singing of the Tamil translation of the National Anthem, a short while ago.This was the first time the national anthem was sung in Tamil since 1949 at Independence Day celebrations.
