Nalaka Godahewa released on bail

 

 

The former Chairman of Securities and Exchanges Commission (SEC) Nalaka Godahewa who was remanded was released on bail today by the Colombo High Court.

 

Earlier, Former Chairman of Securities and Exchanges Commission (SEC) Nalaka Godahewa appeared before the Financial Crimes Investigation Division of the police and was later arrested. The Financial Crimes Investigation Division earlier summoned the former Chairman in regard to an alleged fraud amounting to Rs. 5 million at the SEC.
