Two tourists saved from drowning

Two foreigners drowning in Hikkaduwa were rescued by lifeguards and the police, Hikkaduwa police said. The two tourists, one a Kazakhstan national and the other a Russian, had been bathing in the sea when they were caught by a current that dragged them in deep.

Hikkaduwa police are investigating.
