Grade 5 Scholarship Examination cut-off marks released


The Examinations Department yesterday released the cut-off marks of the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination 2015 held last August.

According to the cut-off marks issued by the Examinations Department, Royal College Colombo and Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo, require the highest marks for admission. Accordingly, in the Sinhala medium Boys' school category - Royal College, Colombo 184, Dharmaraja College, Kandy 182, Ananda College Colombo 181, Nalanda College Colombo 179, Maliyadeva Boys' College Kurunegala 179 are leading the list.

In the Sinhala medium Girls' schools category - Visakha Vidyalaya Colombo 184, Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo 181, Mahamaya Vidyalaya, Kandy 181, Maliyadeva Balika Vidyalaya, Kurunegala 179, Southlands College, Galle 179 leading the list. In Tamil medium boys school category, Royal College, Colombo 178, St. Sylvester's College, Kandy 170, Hartley College Point Pedro 169, D.S. Senanayake Vidyalaya, Colombo 166, St.Anthony's College, Kandy 166.

In the Tamil medium girls' school category, Girls High School, Kandy 174, Muslim Ladies, College Colombo 173, Viharamahadevi Balika Maha Vidyalaya, Kandy 170, St.Anthony's Girls College, Kandy 169 and Methodist Girls High School, Point Pedro 164.
