Navy Commander Vice Admiral Somatilake Dissanayake commended the
“Ranaviru Real Star - Mission II” Navy winners at a ceremony held at the
Naval Headquarters, yesterday. Second Place Winner, Able Musician Gayan
Arunpriya was granted field advancement to the rate of Leading Musician
in appreciation of his excellent performance at the reality show which
brought credit to the Navy.
Displaying his exceptional singing, Gayan created history receiving
the highest audience SMS responses at the reality show. The seventh
place winner, Medical Assistant N. M. N. G. Fernando and the ninth place
winner Leading Musician S. Pathiranage also received Rs 250,000 cash
awards in recognition of their exceptional performances at the contest. |
