MEP to contest under UPFA at PC polls

The Mahajana Eksath Peramuna (MEP) yesterday decided to contest under the United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) for the forthcoming Provincial Council elections, a spokesman of MEP told the Daily News.

Accordingly, it has decided to put forward candidates under the UPFA from Anuradhapaura District for the North Central province, Digamadulla district for the Eastern Province and Rathnapura district for the Sabaragamuwa Province.
