Misbehaving couples in custody

Eighteen young couples behaving indecently at public places in the Kurunegala town area were taken into custody by the Kurunegala Police. Police said the couples were O-L and A-L students. "The raids were conducted following complaints from the public," Headquarters Inspector Ajith Wasantha said.

He said the couples were brought to the police station and severely warned.
