Loans taken by govt boosting country’s development - President

President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday said the loans taken by the government are not meant to only feed the people, but are invested in various development projects in the country. The President said these development projects, including airports, harbours and expressways, would increase in value day by day, while being added to the assets of the country.
