Lions’ Club International essay contest winners

The awards ceremony of the 20th annual all island essay competition
conducted by the Lions’ Clubs International - District 306 A 2 was held
for the Lionistic Year 2011/2012.
The award presentation is scheduled to take place on June 17, at the
Lions Activity Centre, 120/20 Vidya Mawatha, Colombo 7 at 9 am.
District Governor Lion Padmasiri Ranawakaarachchi MJF, JP will grace
the occasion as Chief Guest and the Chairperson, National Dangerous
Drugs Control Board Leisha De Sila Chandrasena will be the Guest of
Honour.
Project chairman Lion S. Ramachanran MJF announced the following
results of the competition.
Sinhala medium (HIV/AIDS) - Miss KA Dishini Sanjalika Perera of
Nayakakanda Yahapath Edera Balika Catholic School, Wattala, Miss Hashani
