Wildlife comes alive

The Young Zoologists' Association of Sri Lanka will conduct its 19th art and photographic exhibition of wild animals and nature from June 7 to 10 at the State Art Gallery, Colombo.

The specialty of the exhibition is, the artists and photographers created the characters of wild animals in their natural sites.

It is the one and only exhibition conducted by the Association on wildlife in Sri Lanka. More than 200 masterpieces of paintings and photographs will be displayed.

The exhibition will be declared open by the Director of the National Zoo Bhaswara Senanka Gunaratne and Director Wildlife Department Udeni Wickramaratne on June 7 at 9 am. It will be free of charge for the public.

The Young Zoologists' Association of Sri Lanka invites the Principals of schools to make arrangements for students to view this rare event.
