Eighteen hospitalised due to gas leak
Eighteen persons were admitted to the Dankotuwa
Hospital after becoming unconscious due to a gas leakage at a soap
manufacturing factory in Dankotuwa, said Police Media Spokesman

Three gamblers arrested in raid
The Mihintale Police raided a house in Rambewa,
Gonewa on Monday night and arrested three persons, including a
17-year-old girl and a woman engaged in gambling. Police said about
15 people were engaged in gambling, during the raid, but some
escaped on seeing the police.
