| Four shops in the Puttalam district
were completely gutted down following a fire last evening.
Police are investigating the cause of the fire. An
electrical shop, a textile shop, a studio and a hardware
shop were gutted in the fire. No casualties were reported.
The Puttalam district fire brigade with the support of the

be the official beverage sponsors at the Amadahara Vesak
Zone organized by Lake House this year. The sponsorship

The installation of the marble statue
of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba took place at the ‘Sai Illam’
(Sai Shrine) New Chetty Street in Kotahena, Colombo 13 on
Thursday 26.
