Flirtatious culinary adventure Slovakian style

A dessert prepared by Chef Michal

As the bracing southern breeze wrapped us in serenity, we entered Jetwing Lighouse on a soggy evening. The evening gloom was washed away as an exuberant musical duo welcomed us with their jovial music. With their vibrant tunes, they set the evening in motion. Then we were given a fizzing cocktail which lifted our spirits and set the night in full-throttle.

The setting was all laid for him to perform his art. Welcoming us opening appetizers, he started to weave his magic with outrageous creativity. Filled with zest and delicious adventure, it was a night to savour, as we visited Jetwing Lighthouse last week to experience the final culinary showdown of Slovakian Chef Michal Konrad.

Outrageously rebellious in his creativity, Michael has the flirtatious culinary touch that can seduce your taste strings with a sense of uniqueness known to his own with every segment of the seven course dinner he teased and flirted. From the opening appetizers to eventual desserts, every segment of the seven course dinner came with a sense of uniqueness which you have not experience before. Holding the appetite throughout a long seven course dinner could be a challenging task - a challenge which he overcame successfully.

As Michael's own words would say, "(the perfect dish) is like all ingredients and flavours would make love on the plate".

As night came on to its own, he started to flourish. After teasing our taste buds with routine appetizers, he came on to its own, as he served us with salads, soups and desserts with his own Pan Asian touch.

The final crescendo came with unique segment of deserts, a crescendo which left you wanting for more.

During his stay, Chef Konrad's special dinners were featured at Jetwing Beach, Jetwing Lighthouse and Jetwing Vil Uyana.

Though Chef Conrad leaves the island, the visitors have no reason to dwell as Jetwing promises to provide its visitors with more such unique experiences in future.
