Swarnavahini yet again brings their viewers a revolutionary love
story Sepalika starting today surrounding a popular cast, talented
script writer and an award winning director.
The drama will be from Monday to Friday at 9.30 pm.
The story of Sepalika surrounds four individuals such as the heart
broken music teacher, Lalithya, the beautiful dancing teacher, Sepalika,
the beloved fiancè of Sepalika Pahan and illicit liquor dealer Mahathun.
The story encircles these four individuals in a village with several
other strong characters such as Hamu, Nilame, Manike, Paba, Mansala,
Hamuduruvo, Principal, his wife and teachers.
The popular cast of Sepalika includes, the famous Suraj Mapa,
alluring Chathurika Peiris, talented Gayan Wickramatilake and the
veteran actress Anula Karunathilake.
The script of Sepalika surrounds the individuals in a village while
Lalithya (Suraj Mapa) arrives from the city to strat a new beginning
after his heart breaking past. At the village, there are two prominent
feudal class families,an illicit liquor dealer, a school and many more
characters.
Amongst these characters Sepalika (Chathurika Peiris) the lead
actress is a traditional dance teacher while Lalithya (Suraj Mapa) comes
to the same school as a music teacher. Sepalika is already engaged to
Pahan (Gayan Wickramathilake) from another feudal class family.
The story surrounds these three individuals and their past, the
families and the interference of the illicit liquor businessman of the
village Mahathun (Mahendra Weerarathna).
Sepalika is directed by Janaka Chaminda Attanayaka who is a
professional cameraman. Attanayaka has more than 17 teledramas to his
credit and winning number of nominations and awards including the
prestigious OCIC Best Camera Director award for Chakrayuda in 2007. His
participation for Swarnavahini includes, Wessa Numba Wage- director and
