Whitney Houston hotel guests demand refund

US: They happened to be staying at the Beverly Hilton on the
day that a music legend died there.
And now guests of the posh hotel where Whitney Houston passed away
are demanding that they get their money back after their stay was
Many of them claim that their trip became unbearable as emergency
services, media and fans descended upon the hotel after the news broke
the icon was found dead in the bathtub in a fourth floor room.
But the hotel has so far refused guests their request for a refund or
a discount on what they paid.
They were told to file an official complaint through the process on
their website and issued a statement.
‘Given the extraordinary nature of the events of last Saturday
evening, The Beverly Hilton took every precaution to protect the privacy
of the Houston Family as well as the hotel guests who may have been
impacted by the incident,’ a spokesperson for the hotel said.
‘The hotel cooperated fully with the Beverly Hills police which
included securing the fourth floor to insure the safety and well-being
of all guests.

‘The hotel regrets any inconvenience that may have occurred in the
immediate aftermath of Saturday’s events.’
