Positive Lankans to play third ODI today
A buoyant Sri Lanka captain Tillkeratne Dilshan
is hoping to maintain the same momentum in the third One Day
International as they did in the second one which the Lankans
recorded a 25 run win to square the series last Monday.
Smith disappointed at Test c’ship delay
South African captain Graeme Smith said on
Wednesday he was disappointed that the International Cricket Council
had decided not to introduce a world Test championship before 2017.
“It’s a bit disappointing,” said Smith on the eve of the second and
final Test against Australia at the Wanderers Stadium.
Marsh believes Australia’s capitulation “one off”
Geoff Marsh said Wednesday that Australia’s
capitulation for a mere 47 in the first Test against South Africa
was a “one off” thing and that his country’s team is still one of
the top sides in the world.
