E-waste collection by CEA

It is a good move that the CEA is organizing e-waste collection. But there is another item abundantly available which could be easily recycled is building waste comprising demolished concrete, mortar, bricks, tiles, asphalt, porcelain etc.

They could be fed into a grinding machine or crusher and the output could be used to make cement or concrete blocks instead of using for landfill. I wonder whether the Building Research Centre is interested or have already tried this out .

Three-wheelers - the creepers

Amongst the vehicles that do not obey the road rules and rule the roads are the three-wheeler drivers.

Some three-wheelers do not have horns to toot and sometimes they are very reckless.

They have no concern for other vehicles and creep in between at traffic congested roads.

Just a look at their negligence of driving make them stare at us as if to bodily harm us.

However, three-wheelers are of great service to the public to reach their destinations specially for urgent matters and on rainy days. But the police should be hard on this type of drivers who are great violators of road rules and creators of accidents.
