The chain of restaurants has not only established a reputation for
authentic Singaporean food, but also rich tastes and premium quality. I
have been a regular client at Prima Taste and Chef cum General Manager
the hospitable and charismatic David Ching treated me with his Black
Pepper sauce specialty dishes.
The black pepper pork was the pick of the dishes for me with juicy
succulent chunks of pork stir fried with a spicy – sweet black pepper
sauce. The black pepper whole garoupa, crab and jumbo prawns are also
must tries.
This flagship restaurant boasts an elegant ambiance with a distinctly
Singaporean décor, featuring motifs of Singapore’s national flower – the
orchid and a photomontage of old and modern Singapore.
A well designed ‘show kitchen’ adds to the experience and turns out a
comprehensive menu of more than 60 Singapore favourites such as its
signature dishes - including the Singapore chilli crab, Hainanese
chicken rice (poached chicken with chicken fragrant rice), Laksa (rice
noodles in spicy coconut broth), Singapore curry and satay (spiced
barbequed meat skewers) as well as Bah Kut Teh (herb and pepper pork rib
soup).

To achieve the most authentic results, the restaurant uses the famous
Prima Taste ready-to-cook pastes and sauces manufactured by Prima Food
in Singapore. These pastes and sauces are developed by a dedicated R&D
team comprising of master chefs and food technologists with excellent
industry track records.
To produce the finest flavours, Prima Food source selects premium
quality ingredients from around the world. There are consistent and
stringent quality checks on all ingredient supplies for Prima Taste to
ensure that variables such as weather or seasonal changes do not affect
the final products.
The products are now used exclusively at all Prima Taste restaurants
the world over. But the good news for the food lovers is that these
ready to cook taste packs are available for retail purchase. The pastes
include chicken curry, chicken rice, chicken stay and laksa prawn and
even Mee goreng.
The grand celebrations of the Singapore National day would be held in
gala style at the Prima restaurant complex on August 5 with dignitaries
such as VIPs and diplomats. A Singapore food festival would also
commence from August 5 at Prima. |
