Next stage begins on June 15

The Higher Education Ministry has announced that the second stage of the leadership training for university entrants would commence on June 15.

Higher Education Ministry Secretary Dr. Sunil Jayantha Navaratne said that the first stage of the above programme is now in progress with good feedback from the participating students.

Around 8,500 students are participating in the leadership training programme conducted by the Forces in 28 centres islandwide.

The Higher Education Ministry has planned to provide leadership training to over 20,000 students entering the universities in the next academic year.
