Police arrested a woman who had pawned fake gold
jewellery and obtained Rs 1.7 million from the Regional Development
Bank’s Nindavoor branch. The Sammanthurai Police arrested the woman
on Monday when she came to the bank to pawn a fake gold bangle and
obtain Rs 125,000.
