Special buses for Vesak

The National Transport Commission (NTC) has made arrangements to deploy over 500 buses for the convenience of the people who come to Colombo for Vesak, NTC Operations Director H W Vipulasena told the Daily News yesterday.

He said that these buses would operate round the clock during the Vesak week. The buses will operate on the routes from outstation areas such as Galle, Aluthgama, Warakapola and Kegalle to Colombo city. The operations director said that special buses would be operating from Colombo to outstations at night for the convenience of the people who return to their homes.
