Teen with grenade nabbed in bus

A 19-year-old girl travelling to Colombo and her father were arrested by the Galewela Police on Saturday evening for possession of a grenade. A Wishwa Nandan and his daughter V. Ugedinee residing in Palavuththu, Trincomalee were arrested in a bus travelling from Trincomalee to Colombo.

Both of them work in a private company in Colombo. They were to be produced before the Dambulla Magistrate yesterday.
